KARIJINI NP
Enjoy a bushwalk and a swim…

The Karijini National Park in the Hammersley Ranges has a spectacular Visitor Centre which is the best place to start your visit. The building represents a goanna and is symbolic to local Banyjima Aboriginal people. There is a display area, theatre and shop. The Park has magnificent gorges, walking trails, waterfalls and lookouts. Dales Gorge features Circular Pool and Fortescue Falls and Knox Gorge has a pleasant walking trail to the Red Gorge Lookout.

Fern pool has two natural cascades and a tranquil swimming hole surrounded by lush vegetation. The best lookout in the park is Oxers Lookout offering spectacular views over the gorges and walking trails to Hancock Gorge and Weano Gorge. Exploring some of the gorges requires a high level of fitness. There are basic campsites at Dales Gorge, Joffre Falls, and Weano Gorge.
