The port city of Geraldton is famous for its world class lobster fishing industry. Take the Lobster Factory Tour at Geraldton Fishermans Co-op to learn all about it. The Western Australian Museum Geraldton features among other things, the Shipwrecks Gallery, telling the stories of the great Dutch shipwrecks off the coast. Also take the time to visit the Geraldton Art Gallery.

Take a day trip out to the Abrolhos Islands to see the coral reefs, the prolific bird and sea life, and to enjoy snorkelling, swimming, diving and fishing. The Chapman Valley Heritage Trail is a 100 km driving tour from Geraldton through the pastoral areas of the valley to see the beautiful scenery and historic points of interest.
