DEVONIAN REEF NP
Facinating landforms & plenty of crocodiles…

Three different parks make up the Devonian Reef National Parks - Windjana Gorge, Geike Gorge and Tunnel Creek. Geikie Gorge is 20 km from Fitzroy along a sealed road. There are boat trips on offer which will give you the aboriginal cultural perspective on the area. The park features facinating landforms, walking trails and an abundance of wildlife including crocodiles. Tunnel Creek National Park is 115 kilometres from Fitzroy Crossing and features a cave system with aboriginal rock art. There are also stalactites and bats in the caves. You can book a 4WD day trip from Derby.

Windjana Gorge National Park is 150 kilometres from Fitzroy Crossing and has a basic camping ground. The gorge has walls up to 100 metres high and you can do a 7 km trek along the gorge following the Lennard River to experience the beautiful pools, trees, birds, fruit bats and crocodiles. The first two parks are for day use only - no camping is permitted. Book your accommodation in Fitzroy Crossing or Derby.
