BUNBURY
The place to see dolphins in the wild...

The port city of Bunbury is a lovely destination for family holidays as it is renowned for the wild dolphins which come in to Koombana Bay and interact with people. You can swim and snorkel with the dolphins at the Dolphin Discovery Centre and take a cruise to go dolphin spotting. Another attraction for wildlife enthusiasts is the Big Swamp Wildlife Park. Take a drive around the Bunbury Heritage Trail or a walk around the city streets and see all the historic buildings and heritage sites. Some examples are the Old Railway Station, the Stirling Street Historic Precinct, Leschenault Homestead and St Marks Anglican Church.

King Cottage Museum is a country residence open by appointment. Visit the Geographe Bay area and see the 'Giant's Causeway' at Rocky Point and the Bunbury Lighthouse which is the original checkered lighthouse on top of a newer base. There are several lookouts offering excellent views including Marlston Hill Rotary Lookout Tower and Boulters Height Lookout. Don't miss a visit to the Regional Art Galley and Arts Complex in Wittenoom Street.
