Walk over to Griffiths Island across the footbridge and stroll the walking track around the island. There is a lighthouse and a Mutton Bird Viewing point. The Port Fairy Folk Festival is held in March each year and is a great music festival. Try your hand at fishing in the river or just watch the professional fishermen unloading their catch at the wharves. Diving is a popular sport in the area due to the number of shipwrecks at an accessible depth.
