MOUNT HOTHAM
An amazing place for skiing!

Mount Hotham has some great challenging downhill ski runs for intermediate and advanced skiers. There are also gentler slopes for beginners and toboggan runs. Experienced cross country skiers will love the trail to Mt Feathertop or across to Falls Creek. The village is at the top of the ski runs. During the summer months, bushwalking is the primary activity. Serious bushwalkers like to trek across the Razorback to Mount Feathertop. Other tracks lead to the Noggerheads, the Red Robin Mine and Mount Fainter.

Four wheel driving is popular on the unsealed roads in the area such as Dargo Road. The Mitta Mitta and Cobungra rivers are great for fishing and it is possible to book a trout fishing tour. The abseilers and rock climbers also come to the mountains in summer. Cycling and horseriding are other ways to see the countryside. Book your accommodation all year round in the resorts, chalets, lodges, guesthouses, motels or holiday apartments. There are several campsites for the summer bushwalkers.

Locations
Mount Hotham is in the Bogong National Park, is 373 km north-east of Melbourne.

Activities
