Point Lonsdale has a lighthouse to explore and Buckley's Cave below the lighthouse. Barwon Heads has a scenic golf course and a good surfing beach, as has Ocean Grove. Portarlington is known for its great craft markets, Lavender Cottage Gallery, Portarlington Mill, wineries and historic homes. Indented head is a picturesque fishing village. Bellarine Peninsula is a great spot for bird watching in the nature reserves, lagoons and wetlands.
