Quorn is a charming old railway town with many historic buildings to inspect. You can follow the historic walk around town and see the Railway Station, Mathews Emporium, Criterion Hotel, Court House, Town Hall, the Flour Mill, Transcontinental Hotel, Grand Junction Hotel and four churches. The Outdoor Agricultural Implements Museum has interesting displays of farm implements in good condition.

The Pichi Richi Railway offers heritage train rides from Quorn. You can travel on the 'Coffee Pot' steam train to Pichi Richi Pass and Woolshed Flat. Conducted tours of the railway workshops are run by arrangement with the booking office. Bushwalking and rock climbing are popular pursuits in the district. Accommodation is offered in the backpacker lodge, hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, farmstays, caravans and camping.
