CLARE
Sceanic drives and wine tasting…

Clare is a historic town in the wine producing region of the Clare Valley. You can follow the Reisling Trail by bicycle from Clare to Auburn, a distance of 27 km. Visit Old Clareville Museum, a museum of wine making or the Old Police Station Museum. For a good view over the Clare Valley, drive to Neagles Rock Lookout and Billy Goat Hill Lookout. Inchiquin Lake is a lovely place for a picnic.

Of course the wineries are the main attraction in the area and you can visit Knappstein Wines, Jim Barry Wines, Emerald Estate, Leasingham Wines, Neagles Rock Vineyards, Tim Adams Wines, Mt Surmon Vineyard and many more. Time your visit with a festival such as Romeria del Rocio Spanish Festival, the Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend or the Spring Garden Festival.
