CEDUNA
On the edge of the desert!

Ceduna is the last major town on the eastern end of the Nullabor Plain. The town of Norseman is 1208 km to the west, with no towns in between except for a few roadhouses and tiny settlements. Ceduna is a very popular place for fishing - from the jetty, the surf, from the rocks and boating in Murat Bay. There are some good swimming and surfing beaches along the coast as well as some magnificent scenery.

The Ceduna OTC Station offers guided tours and the Ceduna Museum has some interesting displays and old buildings. The Laura Bay Conservation Park is a great place for bird watching. Other activities on offer in Ceduna include river cruising, diving, bushwalking, water skiing and four wheel driving. For accommodation in Ceduna, there is a backpacker hostel, several caravan parks, cabins and motels.
