In the heart of the Sunshine Coast!

The Maroochy region of the Sunshine Coast includes the resort areas of Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland, Bli Bli and Coolum. Maroochydore is the commercial heart of the Sunshine Coast, with the biggest shopping complex on the coast, Sunshine Plaza. The region has kilometres of golden surf beaches and the quiet waterway of the Maroochy River for boating and fishing. An important tourist attraction is Underwater World which boasts an oceanarium, educational displays, shows and talks.

Other attractions to visit are Bli Bli Castle, Nostalgia Town, the Endeavour replica, Ski and Skurf Cable Water Ski Park and Olympia Theme Park. Book a skydiving adventure from the Sunshine Coast Airport, play a round of golf, or join a game fishing cruise. At Mount Coolum National Park there is a steep walking trail for very fit bushwalkers to hike to the top of Mt Coolum.
