The striking volcanic crags of the Glass House Mountains are very popular with bushwalkers and rock climbers. Their names are Mount Ngungun, Mount Tibrogargan, Mt Coonowrin and Mount Beerwah. Only experienced climbers should attempt to climb the mountains. There are a number of lookouts for superb views of the Glass House Mountains - Beerburrum Mountain Lookout, Coochin Creek Forest Recreation Area, Glass House Mountains Lookout, Stony Creek Day Recreation Area and Wildhorse Mountain Lookout. Some of these areas also have walking trails.

Visit the Australian Teamsters Hall Of Fame and Spirit of Cobb & Co in the township of Glass House Mountains. A holiday at the Glass House Mountains wouldn't be complete without a trip to Australia Zoo, Steve and Terri Irwin's famous tourist attraction. Take a drive around the local townships of Beerburrum, Beerwah, Landsborough, Mooloolaba and Glass House. The region can be reached as a day trip from Brisbane or Caloundra, or try a farm stay in the local area.
