The gateway to Uluru


Yulara is the service town for tourists visiting Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park (Ayers Rock). There are shops to supply all the necessities - post office, service station, newsagency, supermarket, souvenir shop and banks. Restaurants, cafes and takeaways cater for all tastes. Ayers Rock Airport is at Yulara and direct flights are available from most capital cities. The Information Centre provides excellent displays and a wealth of information.

Popular holiday activities include camel rides, scenic flights, motorcycle rides and of course tours to Uluru. The town has accommodation choices to suit all budgets. There are luxurious resorts with scenic views, hotels, apartments, motels, lodges, cabins and campgrounds.

Yulara is 18 km from Uluru, at the entrance to the Park.

Stay at Yulara when visiting Uluru. Take a scenic flight, a camel ride or motorcycle ride. Visit the rock at sunrise or sunset.
