Visit one of the largest inland cities in NSW!

Wagga Wagga is one of NSW's largest inland cities and is the major centre of the Riverina area. When in Wagga, make sure you visit the Regional Art Gallery and National Art Glass Collection, as well as the Museum of the Riverina. The Botanic Gardens feature a mini zoo, Chinese pavilion, a free-flight aviary and miniature trains. Take a walk along a section of the 30 km Wiradjuri Walking Track. Book a Murrumbidgee River Cruise or a Winery tour. The area is known for its extensive gardens and parklands and many historic buildings.

Take a drive through the surrounding countryside where the farms mainly specialise in wheat-growing, dairying, mixed farming and fat lambs. The RAAF base is located 10 km away at Forest Hill. A number of annual festivals and events are held in Wagga Wagga, including the National Horse Festival and the Wagga Jazz Festival. There is a good range of holiday accommodation on offer in the town's motels, hotels, guesthouses, backpacker hostels and apartments.
