THE ENTRANCE
Spectacular coastal town!

The Entrance is a coastal town popular with families and retirees. There are some great surfing beaches and the huge Tuggerah Lake for sailing. Anglers love the many good fishing spots in the area both around the lakes and the beaches. Try Koolewong Coastal Ecotours to learn about the ecology, fauna and flora of the district. Many pelicans flock around the town and get fed in the park each afternoon. Visit Wyrrabalong National Park for the walking trails and the lookouts. Boats, canoes and catamarans are available for hire, or take some diving lessons.

The Entrance War Library Museum is open Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tourists and locals love the open-air mall called The Waterfront which is great for fine outdoor dining. The markets operate on weekends throughout the year. Vera's Water Garden is a children's water-play area on the foreshore next to Memorial Park, with seating and shaded areas for parents. Holidaymakers choose their accommodation from the plentiful assortment of motels, apartments, resorts and caravan parks.
