Gosford is a major commercial centre on the Central Coast, renowned for its natural beauty, tourist attractions and thriving business industries. The Forest of Tranquillity Rainforest and Bird Sanctuary is a wonderful place to see many species of native birds and smaller animals and to walk the rainforest walks. They hold a Firefly Festival in November/December. The Brisbane Water National Park offers opportunities for bushwalking, fishing, wildflowers and photography.
