Berowra Waters is situated on Berowra Creek and is a popular area for boating activities. There are many beautiful waterfront properties both residential and holiday accommodation. Access to the area is via the vehicular ferry, a free service which runs all day, every day. The Berowra Waters Marina is the base for a number of cruise boats, pleasure boats and a seaplane service from Sydney. Hire a small boat for a spot of fishing or a larger BBQ boat for an all-day outing with a group of friends.

Canoeing and kayaking are popular activities as well. There is a camping and picnic area on the eastern side of the creek and an access point for the Benowie Walking Track, part of the Great North Walk, which runs along beside the creek. There are a number of lovely restaurants with waterfront views, such as the Berowra Waters Inn. Couples can enjoy a romantic weekend getaway in one of the local cottages, secluded retreats, lodges, luxury resorts or houseboats.
