Abercrombie Caves are the most accessible cave system in New South Wales. They are a very interesting collection of limestone caves full of stalagmites and stalactites, columns and shawls. Cave inspections are organised by the NSW State government's Caves Reserve Trust or there is one cave available for a self-conducted walk. There is an information centre for tickets to the cave walks, information and souvenirs.

While visiting the caves, also take a drive to Grove Creek Falls where trout fishing is very popular.The old gold mining town of Tuena lies 17 km south of Abercrombie Caves and is the venue for an annual Goldrush Festival. Tourists still fossick for gold in the area. When visiting the caves, stay at the Abercrombie Caves Camp & Cabin Area.
