Backpacker Farming Jobs - OVERVIEW:
A great work & travel experience for all rolled into one. Young travellers and backpacker workders are particular sought-after for part time farming jobs as Jackaroo's & Jillaroos as farming is physically demanding. The work assigned to you will be almost entirely outside which can make your days work quite enjoyable as you experience life on a working farm. There'll be a lot of early mornings!

If you fancy life on a sheep station or cattle station, some organisations in Australia will teach backpackers farming skills like sheep shearing, cow milking, horse riding, motorbike riding and will help you find farm work after your training is finished.

Working on a farm may not be ideal if you are a traveller who has come to Australia for a year long party! However it can be a great way to escape the city and see the traditional hard working Australian outback spirit. Part time or full time farming jobs for backpackers is a great way to save money, as accommodation is generally provided for you and there is no big entertainment & shopping areas nearby to spend your money!
